REPEATABLE EXACT PUTTING SYSTEM
STANCE WIDTH - STANCE DISTANCE - BALL POSITION - AIM - ALIGNMENT - CONTACT - LAUNCH DIRECTION - STROKE PATH - SPEED CONTROL - STROKE LENTH - GREEN READING
Ball Position Indicators:
These are precisely placed at 1" increments to allow players to experiment with different ball positions under a controlled environment. Once the proper ball position has been located, you will use the indicator to train from this location each time.
Suggestion:
When selecting a ball position, it is important to view this process as not what feels the best but what yields the best results. I suggest watching the videos on how to determine your ideal indicator.
Coach's Caution:
I would suggest using the indicator for the placement of the ball and not the putter face. When setting up to the ball, place the ball in the center of the mark and allow the face to sit behind the ball.
Stance Distance Indicators:
These are precisely placed at 1.5" increments to allow players to experiment with different distances from the ball under a controlled environment. Once the proper ball position has been located, you will use the indicator to train from this location each time you practice.
Suggestion:
Start with your toes on the indicator nearest to the ball and move away one indicator at a time. I suggest watching the videos on how to determine your ideal indicator.
Coach's Caution:
It is more common to see struggling putters stand too far from the ball. I typically see players between the height of 5'9'' - 5'11'' use the second indicator for distance (standard length putter)
Slope testing ramp:
This feature allows players to test the slope of a putt with a true roll. The Laser Platform can be attached to extend the length and increase the distance the ball will roll.
Suggestion: I would suggest using the Slope Testing Ramp as an experimental tool to view how putts actually break across slopes. Having your eyes behind the ball as it breaks, compared to having your eyes above the ball, will give you more respect of how much putts actually break.
Coach's Caution:
Balls that are released down an inclined slope will immediately generate forward spin. Balls that are struck with a putter will immediately create backspin. There will be a slight difference between how these two balls break. The difference is minimal, however there is a difference.
LASER PLATFORM
Sharpie Line
This slot is precisely placed in the center of the board, aligned with the laser beam. You will use your Sharpie to draw a reference line on the green to assist you with properly aiming the putter, while encouraging a true start line. If you use a line on the ball to aim, you will match the line on the ball with the Sharpie line on the green.
Laser Mount
You will see on the Laser Platform that there is an open area. This area is for the mounting screw of the laser to rest inside. Once the laser is securely positioned, you will tighten the laser to ensure that it does not move.
Laser Calibration Notch:
This notch is precisely placed in the center of the Laser Platform and directly in line with the laser. You will use this reference to calibrate your laser horizontally and vertically to insure proper calibration.
